So…imagine you’ve just finished day 9 of a novena to St. Therese. During the novena you request that our dear saint send a rose from heaven…a specific color, light pink to be precise. You’ve even pictured in your head what the rose should look like, because you want to be sure. Then you receive a virtual bouquet in your email inbox (thanks Esther!):

Does this count? Can a “virtual rose” be a “rose from heaven”? This is a serious question, though it seems rather odd. What do you think?
I am a traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of 9 children, married for 30 years to the most patient and sainted man. As converts to Catholicism in 1991, our family has only recently discovered the beauty and full expression of our beliefs in the timeless liturgy of antiquity, the Extraordinary Form also commonly referred to as the Traditional Latin Mass. An avid knitter, I also enjoy gardening, reading and immersing myself in the everyday graces of my vocation.

No kidding??? Yes, it counts! Wow, I am still in awe!
It absolutely counts!
Incredible…it’s not dramatic to say you have been touched by the hand of God! Someone once said there are no coincidences, only Christ-incidences!
Yes !
Yes !
Most definitely Yes.
A rose
is a rose!
Trust.
She is not limited by time or space.
Saint Therese is in ETERNITY !
We might not understand things seen and unseen,
but She is outside of the world with limitations!
God bless,
Ellen
A very heavy sigh…
Not of relief, though I do have peace in knowing the answer. I’m being asked to do something that is very hard. I thank you all for your confirmation of what I knew to be true in my heart…
