…they’ll be quite pleased to discover the sweet little house that Daddy, Charlotte and Emily built this afternoon.
Almost immediately after Mass, I was stricken by an absolutely horrid migraine. The combination of sleep deprivation, fatigue and heat pretty much guaranteed an afternoon of medication and rest. Our dear friend, Hilaire, took the boys to the pool for the afternoon, while my husband cared for the little girls and Grandma.
Have I mentioned that my husband is a saint? When he discovered the little girls struggling to assemble an appropriate dwelling for their fairy friends, he quickly came to the rescue, weaving a wall of leaves and twigs, encouraging the proper placement of flowers and furnishings, until, voila!
An abode that will suit even the most discriminating fairy:

I am a traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of 9 children, married for 30 years to the most patient and sainted man. As converts to Catholicism in 1991, our family has only recently discovered the beauty and full expression of our beliefs in the timeless liturgy of antiquity, the Extraordinary Form also commonly referred to as the Traditional Latin Mass. An avid knitter, I also enjoy gardening, reading and immersing myself in the everyday graces of my vocation.
