I am a traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of 9 children, married for 30 years to the most patient and sainted man. As converts to Catholicism in 1991, our family has only recently discovered the beauty and full expression of our beliefs in the timeless liturgy of antiquity, the Extraordinary Form also commonly referred to as the Traditional Latin Mass. An avid knitter, I also enjoy gardening, reading and immersing myself in the everyday graces of my vocation.

I was very touched reading your article. We are surrounded by friends and family that are much more financially solvent than we are and sometimes I struggle with how we look to others: heading into the retirement stretch with no home of our own, no jobs either one of us has stayed with for longer than three years, and no real savings. But like your family, we aren’t poor either. Despite the week that we had $20 and no food, we made it work and God is Good all the time!
This is one article I will print out and read regularly to remind myself that all things work together for those that love Him.
May God continue to bless your family and your ministry of writing.
Congratulations! We feel priviledged to have read it posted here first! It was an amazing article.
Congratulations….not only for your article, but because you have a large family and do know what having children is all about…a gift….
Congrats, Kimberly! It is a very well-written article and deserves a large audience. I pray others will be encouraged by your story and wise perspective. God has obviously blessed you and your family. Praise Him for His faithfulness!
Welcome to the CE family of writers! I am a columnist with them and hope to see more of your articles in the future.
Best wishes!
This is a well-deserved honor! Congrats!
Congratulations. A very good article!
I just read this and am all weepy, and I blame it on your beautiful perspective and not my pregnancy hormones.
God bless you and your family, and please keep sharing the riches of your words and faith!
