A big thank you to Danielle Bean for organizing the Small Successes blogfest! I really need this reminder today! Check out more Small Successes at Faith & Family Live:
1. I vacuumed under the sofa cushions. You wouldn’t believe the things I found!
2. I missed the end of a movie I was really enjoying to help 19yo Clementine fix a bowl of Cream of Wheat. Yes, friends. She’s 19 and hadn’t a clue how to fix hot cereal! Well…she does now!
3. I crocheted a dolly dress and cape for a dear friend’s daughter just because she asked me to…
So…what are your small successes? I can’t wait to read about them, so join in!
Blessings,

I am a traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of 9 children, married for 30 years to the most patient and sainted man. As converts to Catholicism in 1991, our family has only recently discovered the beauty and full expression of our beliefs in the timeless liturgy of antiquity, the Extraordinary Form also commonly referred to as the Traditional Latin Mass. An avid knitter, I also enjoy gardening, reading and immersing myself in the everyday graces of my vocation.

#2 cracks me up! Yes, these things happen!
Your pics on the previous post are gorgeous. There are some things that are just breathtaking about winter.
Have a great day!

My 6yo found a $5 bill once under the couch cushions. He’s now taken it as his job to clean them for me! LOL!
When my husband and I were first together we would occasionally check the couch cushions for coffee money.
Hand-made dolls dresses are so much nicer. It can be hard to justify the time when there are real people to clothe, but when one does, they bring such delight, that it is worth it after all.
Well done!
I have a slipcover on one couch and it’s alway a “treat” to take it off for laundering. Pens, toys, coins, crushed crackers, missing “treasures” lol.
oh the things you can find in sofa cushions….they eat my crochet needles all the time!
i hate to do this to you, i am sure you’ve other posts you’d like to write about, but i am tagging you AGAIN for a meme. twice in one week should be illegal, i know, but this one is sort of fun. at least you have clementine around, maybe she can get a decent picture of you, unlike my kids who are better at photographing clouds and kittens!
