I am a traditional Catholic homeschooling mother of 9 children, married for 30 years to the most patient and sainted man. As converts to Catholicism in 1991, our family has only recently discovered the beauty and full expression of our beliefs in the timeless liturgy of antiquity, the Extraordinary Form also commonly referred to as the Traditional Latin Mass. An avid knitter, I also enjoy gardening, reading and immersing myself in the everyday graces of my vocation.

Beautiful! I love photos 6 & 7!
Those two lovely landscape shots were taken by my gallant 16 yr. old. He knows the way to his mother’s heart!
I thought those ice feathers were just beautiful when I looked outside yesterday. Is “ice feathers” the official name? I had never seen anything like them before. From a distance I thought the trees were iced over. Great photos! I took some too, but they’re nowhere near as nice as yours.
such pretty photography…
i can’t even imagine cold like that.
and though it is wonderful to look at, hope you all are keeping warm!
Ice feathers or frost feathers…both are accurate names for this phenomenon. It happens when the frost or ice forms on the windward side of an object. I think they’re beautiful…
